AUTOCLICKER GUIDES

Auto clicker not working?

If a click sequence does not behave as expected, stop it first and test one target with one cycle. The checks below help separate setup problems from webpage limitations.

The dock does not appear

Confirm ClickPulse is enabled at chrome://extensions. After installation, refresh the webpage and open the extension again. Chrome’s internal pages, including extension management and other chrome:// pages, cannot host this dock. If you closed the dock with its cross icon, use the popup or Alt+H to reopen it.

Markers appear but buttons do not respond

Check that the marker’s center is over the intended button. Stop and reposition after scrolling, zooming, or layout changes. A page may require trusted user input, use a closed shadow root, or place controls in an inaccessible cross-origin frame. Try the same sequence in the bundled playground: if it works there, the original page may be incompatible.

Some steps are missed

Increase the delay for the preceding target and keep the tab visible. AutoClicker does not wait for network requests to finish, and background tabs can slow browser timers. A fixed number of cycles is usually easier to inspect than continuous clicking.

Local HTML files do not work

On the extension’s details page in Chrome, enable Allow access to file URLs, then refresh the file. Only enable this setting if you intend to use local pages. The bundled playground does not need this permission.

Keyboard shortcuts do not respond

Give the webpage focus and check chrome://extensions/shortcuts for conflicts or reassigned shortcuts. Stop from the popup if another application has keyboard focus. Escape stops the current sequence; the cross icon also removes the complete page interface.

Saved targets disappeared

Targets belong to a tab’s page configuration. Reloading the same page restores them in a stopped state, but navigating to another page clears their positions. Closing a tab requests removal of its saved configuration. The extension does not synchronize sequences through a cloud account.
