manifest.json. Pin ClickPulse to the toolbar. - Refresh any webpage that was already open, then open the extension or select Try the playground.
The filename includes “chrome” because Chrome and Brave use the same Chromium extension package. You do not need to rename the ZIP, install Chrome, or change Brave Shields to use this package.
Installing from the Chrome Web Store
Brave supports Chromium extensions from the Chrome Web Store. When ClickPulse has a published listing available to your account, open that listing in Brave and select Add to Brave. Read the permission prompt and confirm the installation. See Brave’s official extension installation guide.
A developer listing URL ending in /preview is a store preview. Use the published listing for store installation. If the install button is disabled, check the item’s publication status and distribution access in the developer dashboard; a preview screenshot alone does not show that the extension is incompatible with Brave. This website currently provides the manual ZIP installation option.
Use the same visual controls
Add numbered targets, drag them onto page buttons, set each delay and click type, and choose a repeat count. Single, double, and page-level right clicks work through the same extension interface. Press Escape to stop, or click the cross icon to remove the dock, targets, effects, and restore controls. Start with the setup guide.
Shortcuts and local files
If Alt+C, Alt+A, or Alt+H conflicts with another command, check brave://extensions/shortcuts. To use a local HTML file, enable Allow access to file URLs in ClickPulse’s extension details at brave://extensions. The bundled playground works without that setting.
What was verified
The existing 1.3.0 release package passed all 19 functional checks in the installed desktop Brave browser (Brave 1.97.56, Chromium 155). These cover click types, target order, repeat limits, multiple tabs, reload persistence, the popup, shortcuts, the playground, and complete exit from both dock layouts.
Like Chrome, Brave blocks extension scripts on internal browser pages and the Chrome Web Store. Some webpages ignore synthetic clicks or contain inaccessible frames. This is webpage automation, not system-wide mouse control. See troubleshooting if a page does not respond.
